Are the 3 nodes of a cluster in a same node?

I just read below link, and want to ask: are the 3 nodes of a cluster in a same node (e.g. a Linux Server)

Hi,

You could do that, but you wouldn’t be protected against hardware failure, or be able to upgrade the machine without taking the cluster offline - which would remove most of the point of having the cluster.

The installation guide is tailored for our trial setup. For testing purposes, the trial setup can be quickly initiated on a single node to provide a quick overview of the architecture and fast access for testing.

The setup is organized into three subfolders, which can be easily transferred to different nodes. If you do this, you’ll need to update the IP addresses in the HAProxy configuration files and enable communication between the three nodes via a private network.
