Find out user name on "disconnected, not authorised"

Hi!

On my broker there is one Client trying to connect every 5 seconds. It gets a “disconnected, not authorised” error, I would expect a wrong password or such. But: how can I find out about the user name? It is not logged. Only the IP but that does not help to much here.

Any idea is appreciated!

Hello Keith,

You should be able to get a log like this:

1712582140: Client mqtt-explorer-e13a77f5 disconnected, not authorised.

Giving you the clientid used.

Try log_type all for the most possible logs.
