I’m a student and have to do some tests with a MQTT broker, which is to be installed on an offline linux server. So, the linux server has no connection to the internet.
My question is about installing the eclipse mosquitto software file on the offline linux server.
I have downloaded the “mosquitto-2.0.18.tar.gz” file from the website. I also have imported the “.tar.gz” file to the offline linux server with a usb device. Then, I extracted the “.tar.gz” file on the linux server and saved it in a folder. There are a large number of files in the extracted folder.
My question:
Which exact file do I need to use to install MQTT broker on offline linux server? Or what exactly is the installation order here?
And which exact linux command do I need for the MQTT broker installation?
